Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for considering using your time, talent and resources to help HPC meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of women and children in our community. Please prayerfully consider when, where, and in what capacity God is leading you to serve.
Opportunities for Interacting with Clients
(1 Year Commitment - 4 to 8 hours per Week - Computer Literacy Required)
Client Advocate - Earn While You Learn / Bright Source (Remote and In-Clinic)
Moms and Dads need skills to prepare themselves to parent—they learn valuable tools about everyday life situations. You will meet with mothers and fathers and mentor clients through prenatal, child development, parenting, and life skill curriculum.
MALE Client Advocate
(4—6 Hours per Week in the Clinic or on the Mobile)
Support male clients and/or drive the Mobile Clinic as a Driver providing prayer & protection.
Medical Professionals
(4—6 Hours per Week in the Clinic or on the Mobile)
Provide medical services to our clients. We always need nurses, nurse practitioners, sonographers and medical doctors.
Professional Counselors
(2 hours per week, evenings preferred)
Licensed counselors are frequently needed to help clients negotiate changes and life.
Support Opportunities (Not interacting with Clients)
Prayer Ministry
Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:00 PM
Meet weekly to praise the Lord for our center’s blessings and pray for our clients needs.
Office Help
4 hours per week
Filing, computer data entry, copying, scanning, inventory supplies, etc.
Mailing Assistant
2 to 3 times a year
Help with large mailings (stuffing envelopes).
Events/Outreach
Typically weekend or annual local events.
For example: Labour of Love, Breaking Through, Walk of Life, HPC Annual Banquet.
